Local Hypnotherapists Honor Veterans Day By Offering

FREE Stress Reduction Classes for Veterans and their Families

Seattle, WA - October 9, 2007-- The National Guild of Hypnotists, Washington Chapter, (NGHWA) today announced that they will offer free stress reduction classes for Washington Veterans and their families in several locations in the Greater Puget Sound area during the week before and after Veterans Day.

“It’s our way of giving back to those who serve their country and protect us all,” said Kate Wells, one of the organizers of the events.  “We know that hypnosis is a great benefit in stress reduction and the military and their families are under tremendous amounts of stress right now.”

“We are pleased the NGHWA is offering free stress reduction classes for Veterans,” said Ron Boxmeir, Team Leader of the Seattle Vet Center.  “I know our Seattle Vet clients will be eager to take advantage of this opportunity to help improve their way of life.”

Classes will be offered through the Seattle Vet Center, Redmond Regional Library, Edmonds PUD, and in other locations. For registration, more locations and times, please go to www.nghwa.org

“Hypnosis has been approved as a complementary therapy since the 1950’s by both the American and the British medical associations,” Lauren Archer, President of the Chapter, explained. “Our members are professionals who are happy to answer questions and to demonstrate the many benefits of hypnosis.”

The wife of an active duty soldier recently used hypnosis to help relieve stress. “My daughter has been having a hard time sleeping due to anxiety…from her Dad serving in Afghanistan….The second night she went to sleep right away and slept all night! It is wonderful that it has worked so quickly.”

The National Guild of Hypnotists, Washington State Chapter, is a non-profit professional organization that provides educational opportunities for hypnosis professionals and the general public.
